LINEAR ELECTRIC ACTUATORS

Linear electric actuators AV are electromechanical products, designed for use in recreational boating, that allow the opening and closing of even partial heavy engine compartment hatches, lockers, hatches etc. Using a switch, it is possible to lock the hatches in all positions between full closure and full opening: the position is then maintained by internal mechanisms that prevent accidental closure. An emergency device also allows for the possible manual opening of the compartment in the event of a power failure.

• Depending on the thrust required, the AV actuator can be mounted singly or in pairs in double installations or in larger numbers in multiple installations.
• Max thrust in single installations: 1200N (120 kg – 265 lbs)
• Max thrust in double installations: 2400N (240 kg – 529 lbs)
• It is recommended not to exceed the maximum thrust indicated
• Supplied with 2 mounting brackets complete with pins and cotter pins
• Telescoping stainless steel stem to allow manual opening in case of emergency
• Available on request without emergency manual opening device
• Overload protection and end-stop by current limitation
• Protection type IP 65
• Speed 25 mm/sec without load, 17 mm/sec with maximum load
• Load absorption single installation: 10A at 12V, 5A at 24V
• Load absorption double installation: 20A at 12V, 10A at 24V
• For 12VDC AV models, compliance with explosion-proof requirements according to
UL1500 – ISO8846
